Sci-Inspire is a 501(c)3 nonprofit social network for science outreach piloting in New York and Washington, D.C. that connects K-12 educators with university science students to boost science attitudes and aptitudes in American youth.

Volunteers will typically come into the classroom to teach a previously agreed upon lesson and/or mentor students for upcoming science fairs. The volunteer can come in once, or multiple times—it is entirely up to you (the educator) and the volunteer to pick a time and a lesson. Sci-Inspire allows you to gain access to and communicate with a wealth of STEM undergraduates who are eager to spread their knowledge and passions for science!

Volunteer requests will automatically be matched to undergraduate volunteers. If your school already has an educational team, you can join it. If not just send an email, and we can help you create a team! In addition, there are also short educational videos that are available after you register, which can help guide you through how to use the platform.
