The DC STEM Fair is the premier student competition in the District of Columbia. This event brings together students from all eight wards to create, problem-solve, and innovate.The STEM Fair is open to all students enrolled in public charter, parochial, private schools, and home school students.
Elementary Fair – June 1, 2019
The Elementary STEM Fair will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Student Center, 4200 Connecticut Ave NW (Metro: Van Ness-UDC).
The elementary fair is open to students in grades 3-5. Registration opens on April 1, open to students in grades 3-5. Check back here soon for more details!
- April 3, 2019: Project registration opens, judge and volunteer registration opens
- May 17, 2019: Registration Cutoff
- June 1, 2019: Elementary DC STEM Fair & Awards Ceremony at UDC

The DC Secondary STEM Fair for students grades 6-12, was held on March 16, 2019. Our grand award winners from the Secondary Fair are moving on to the Intel ISEF Fair in Phoenix, Arizona, May 12-17, 2019.
