Metro Warriors STEM Program (MWSO) is designed to stimulate interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields, or STEM. The goal is to encourage students in grades K–12 to attend college and pursue technical degrees. Our programs provide activities to help students discover firsthand how engineering and technology relate to the world around them and discover the excitement of academic excellence, leadership, technical development, and teamwork.

Help is wanted from college students, youth, or anyone who has a desire to serve. Please complete the questions below to apply for participation as a mentor for the Metro Warriors STEM program. Mentors selected will be paid a stipend based on an individual contract agreement. We are looking for mentors for our Math, Robotics, and Radio-Controlled Cars for elementary, middle, and high school students. Starting in September 2017, the program will run on Sundays 2 pm to 6 pm. There are some other possible summer programs available. College students who have an interest in STEM and working with youth are highly recommended. Training is available and required.

Visit the websites at Metro Warriors Stem Organization and the National Society of Black Engineers.
