GWTeach is a STEM teacher preparation undergraduate program at The George Washington University, designed specifically for STEM majors. Students in the GWTeach program earn their bachelor’s degree in a chosen STEM field and will be eligible for licensure as a middle or high school teacher upon graduation. The program is centered around early and ongoing classroom experiences where students get to practice what they have learned in their pedagogic courses.

GWTeach is looking for inspiring Mentor Teachers, currently working with students in grades 2-12, who can open up their classroom to one or more of the GWTeach students, to offer guidance, support and feedback.
Mentor Teachers will receive a stipend for their service and support from your building principal will be required for participation.
