The congressional app challenge is accepting applications now! The 2017 Congressional App Challenge is open for submissions from students in 222+ districts in 45 states across the country. The challenge is open for students K-12! The deadline for this years challenge is Nov 1st, but this challenge will be hosted next year as well.

Students can create and submit their own original apps in any programming language, on any platform (mobile phone, tablet, web, PC, robot). Apps will be judged by a panel of local community leaders engaged in STEM fields. Winners run the chance of being invited to  Washington, DC, and having their apps featured on a display in the U.S. Capitol building.

It’s never too early to prepare for next years annual congressional app challenge! Stay tuned on the website for future information. More information and submission guidelines are available here.
