Teen Only Earth Optimism Event

On Sunday, April 23rd, from 11:30am-2:00pm, the National Museum of Natural History is hosting its first ever teen-only event to celebrate Earth Optimism. During the event, you will have the opportunity to meet with scientists, climate change leaders, researchers, artists, and local teen advocates for an inspiring afternoon of conversations, hands-on activities, performances, and more.

There will be a free-style rapper performing, seed ball making going on, and plenty of chances for you to meet other teens just as awesome and concerned about the planet as you are! Those coming will have the chance to:

  • Be Empowered: Learn how you can get involved in conservation efforts
  • Be Informed: Talk with scientists, climate leaders, and teen activists about issues
  • Get Involved: Get information on internships, opportunities and places to go, locally and globally
  • Hang Out: Meet other local teens who are interested in scien
