Pathways to the Potomac Teacher Workshop
August 6 - August 10
In this course, teachers will explore the Potomac River Watershed around the D.C. metro area. Teachers will investigate some of the threats to our waterways as well as methods that help mitigate problems in our water. As the class digs deeper into the state of our watershed, the class will collaborate to find ways to connect these topics and techniques back to the classroom.
This course is open to Northern Virginia, D.C., and Maryland educators. The class will take place over the course of 5 days, which includes 2 local investigation days and 3 days at Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Karen Noonan Memorial Environmental Education Program. There is a $50 resource fee to attend. Please register to attend.
