Design for a Sustainable Future Teacher Workshop
July 9 - July 13
In 2017, DC was named the world’s first LEED Platinum City. Teachers will explore the various elements of a LEED Platinum city, including dimensions of sustainable water use, energy, waste, transportation and the human experience. This course will enable teachers to make classroom connections between 21st century skills and the cities of the future, through a deep understanding of relationships between cities, people and the environment.
There is a $50 resource fee which is refunded upon completion of the course. The course takes place over 5 local investigation days, from July 9 – 13, 2018. Please register to attend.
