How to Build a Robot from Scratch

Makersgeneration and The Silver Spring Library are hosting free workshops on 11 sessions titled ”How to build your robot from scratch with an open source arduino.” Learn how to about arduino boards, 3D modeling/printing, and more. The event is located at the Silver Spring Library in Maryland, 3rd floor, Multimedia room. and is hosted every Tuesday from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. This workshop is open to everybody 12 years old and above.
This project is organized every week as followed with the different themes:
January 30th 2018: Introduction to electronics (use resistor, led, a prototyping board…)
February 6th 2018: Introduction to the arduino board and programming
February 13th 2018: Introduction to the arduino board and programming
February 20th 2018: Use sensors with an arduino board
February 27th 2018: Use sensors with an arduino board
March 6th 2018: Introduction to 3D modeling
March 13th 2018: Introduction to 3D modeling
March 20th 2018: Introduction to 3D printing and how to use a 3D printer
March 27th 2018: Introduction to 3D printing and how to use a 3D printer
April 3rd 2018: Assemble all the differents parts for our final robots (electronics, arduino, 3D printed parts…)
April 10th 2018: Program our robot and all the sensors to make it work.
