The DC STEM Fair is excited to announce a Request for Proposals for STEM Community Workshops! The Elementary DC STEM Fair is anticipating 300 students, their families, and their teachers on June 2, 2018 at the University of the District of Columbia’s Student Center. To connect parents, siblings, and teachers at the STEM Fair to STEM learning opportunities they can do outside of the traditional classroom, the DC STEM Fair is soliciting proposals for interactive STEM workshops.

Each workshop will be 50 minutes, and should accommodate 25 parents, family members, and children. Up to two workshop proposals can be submitted, or a workshop can be run twice. The DC STEM Fair can provide up to $100 in material costs, to be reimbursed after the Fair. There will be two concurrent workshops offered from 9:10-10:00 am and 10:10-11:00 am. This solicitation is open to educators, schools, community-based organizations, and professional organizations.

Proposals are due by 5:00 pm EST on May 4, 2018.

If you have any questions, please email stemfair@dcstemnetwork.org.
